Why does a CIDB certification matter?
The Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) was created by Act 520 of 1994, a national law that grants it sole authority to set competency standards for Malaysia’s entire construction sector and facility management.
The status of "CIDB Authorized Training Centre" (Pusat Latihan Bertauliah CIDB - PLB) is a formal accreditation process where CIDB Malaysia rigorously assesses and approves a training provider. It is an official appointment, granting the centre the authority to conduct CIDB's sanctioned training and competency assessment programs.
